Introduction
The VHP Series of UHPLC fittings have been developed to provide reliable fluid connections at high pressures and elevated temperatures.
The fittings are a two-ferrule construction using a combination of 316 stainless steel and a proprietary PEEK™ blend.
Compatibility
The VHP Series is compatible with all commonly used HPLC and UHPLC columns and 1/16” od rigid and semi-rigid tubing.
The unique design ensures a leak free connection is made without distorting or crimping the tubing. This ensures critical fluid paths are maintained.
Imperial (1/4” Head) and metric (8mm Head) options available.
Installation
VHP fittings can be installed in seconds. Working at pressures up to 20,000psi requires a quick half turn with a spanner (beyond fingertight).
Re-usable
The two piece fitting is re-usable – ferrules are not crimped onto the tubing as part of the connection process.
Reliability
UHPLC methods use a wide range of both pressures and temperatures. The VHP fittings have been fully tested at extended temperatures and pressures to ensure the tubing remains in place, thus preventing dead volume formation (a factor critical to UHPLC).
